The Rock, Roll and Rattlesnake Challenege (RRRC) is held on a private ranch in the remote rugged and beautiful area of North West Texas. The RRRC is not a "bag and tag' get in and get out, over and done kind of race.
It is a full weekend of "entertainment", an experience to savor, enjoy and make memories. The RRRC was started by Rattlesnake Racing in 1999 and has a long history of challenging participants. The race is known for its extremes, weather, terrain, wind, and so much more.
Teams and support check in on Friday and receive maps and enjoy the hospitality of our home and a wagyu beef stuffed bake potato dinner. The race starts at 4am Saturday morining with an 8pm cut off. Expect to race the full 16 hours. Racers and crew are treated at the finish at our house to a Wagyu Brisket dinner (ranch raised) and awards ceremony. Disciplines include mt. biking on gravel and trails, lake paddling and trekking in rugged terrain. Navigation required for all disciplines.

The inaugural year of Adventure Racing World Series – North America circuit officially gets underway this weekend with the Extreme Break Up Adventure Race in Manhattan, Kansas, U.S.A. on Saturday, March 18th.
The race will take place from September 8-10th in the magnificent territory of the Anishinaabe Nation, and the location is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and lovers of wide-open spaces, with no less than 7500 lakes and rivers. The diversity of fauna and the quality of its natural landscapes are perfect for adventure racing.
“I truly believe that adventure racing is the best sport ever invented and love that we can give back to our community by offering this event in Central Wisconsin,” said Tim Buchholz, co-race director of the Rib Mountain Adventure Challenge. “That we’re able to support student scholarships through the proceeds of this event is icing on the cake!”
