• ARWS is the biggest and longest running international Adventure Racing Series.
• Each race has a different character & location thanks to the vision of the Race Directors.
• 20 World Championship Qualifiers globally, many presented for 10 years or more.
• 60+ races in 6 Regional Series: Europe, Oceania, Africa, Asia, North & South America.
• Races from 2 hour sprints to 120 hour expeditions within the spectrum of ARWS racing.
• A World Championship (ARWC) is selected from Qualifier events each year.
• This year's ARWC in Corsica is the 22nd and ARWC has been held on 5 continents.
• A comprehensive, international World Ranking system for regional and qualifier races.
• Over 3600 teams and 10,000 racers from 40 countries are in the ARWS rankings.
• Internationally accepted Rules and Regulations system.
• The international referee programme supports all ARWS races and fair competition.
• ARWS Hall of Fame membership is awarded to the heroes of our sport.
• The first ARWS Junior World Championship will be hosted in Canada in 2026.
