The Amazons Australia is an all-female, 3-day, stage adventure race for teams of two. In addition to navigation the event combines the skills of trekking, mountain biking, paddling and will include some mystery challenges to test their skills and resilience in the heart of Australia's tropics. Teams will battle mother nature’s dense rainforests, rivers/oceans, unpredictable weather, fatigue, mental and physical challenges in a bid to be crowned Amazon Warriors after three, 8 hour days of racing.

The ARWS is back with the 2nd edition of the Junior Adventure Racing World Championship with Raid Temiscamingue in Canada, supported by the International Adventure Racing Association.  (IARA)
