USARA is stoked to bring the 2026 USARA National Championships to the Pacific Northwest for the first time in the 27-year history of the race, and also for the first time to combine with the ARWS North America Championship! This race will have two titles on the line and a prize of a place in the 2027 World Championship in Croatia.
With Bend Racing as Race Directors and Jason Magness as Course Designer, the race promises teams 30 hours of full-on adventure that will test their mettle against the elements of the Central Oregon high desert. Come early, stay late and bring the family to experience why everyone wants to Visit Bend!
The 2026 USARA National Championships and ARWS North America Championships are open to 4-person teams in mixed gender, all-female and all-male categories. (The World Championship prize is available to 4 person coed teams only.)

The United States Adventure Racing Association (USARA) and the Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS) are pleased to announce that the USARA National Championship will serve as an event in the ARWS North America Series in 2024.
The inaugural year of Adventure Racing World Series – North America circuit officially gets underway this weekend with the Extreme Break Up Adventure Race in Manhattan, Kansas, U.S.A. on Saturday, March 18th.
