Developed and designed by Jason and Chelsey Magness of Team BendRacing/ 4HourFuel.
This event is part of the Adventure Racing World Series. It has a prize purse (minimum $5000), as well as points toward a world ranking and invitation and free entry into the World Championships 2025 in Canada.
It is NOT recommended as a "first race", but it is possible as many teams have proved in the past. This is consistently one of the most demanding events on the world series circuit with real navigation, off trail travel, whitewater, technical terrain and wildly varying weather possible. Less experienced teams will have many options to self select short course at various points.
If you finish the full course - you'll become a LEGEND in the world of AR. But even to toe the line and cross the finish line under your own power is legendary in our book. This is America's Toughest Race. Winning time 72 hours, course open 108 hours.
It's a course like no other taking teams through all sorts of terrain. From the high desert to rainforest and back, this race will challenge everyone as well as put delight and life back into the soul and bones of every single athlete - making them absolute legends.
