The Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS) is a global platform uniting professional adventure races in iconic locations to serve a worldwide community of adventurers and endurance athletes. The series includes multi-day expedition-style races in some of the most challenging and remote locations around the world and accessible regional races (lasting a day or weekend) on 6 continents. Each year the ARWS brings together the best adventure racers in the world to compete for the title of Adventure Racing World Champion.

Adventure Racing World Series competition returns to the Scottish Highlands with this year’s ITERA and ITERA Lite races taking place from August 10-15th
From September 4 to 7, 2025, this world-class competition will bring together athletes from Quebec, across Canada, and around the globe in an exceptional natural setting—perfect for adventure, challenges, and personal achievement.
The worldwide ranking system for adventure racing, run by the ARWS, has been upgraded and will now include more racers in different categories.
Athletes from 11 countries will race the ARWS Endurance Quest Saimaa event
Teams will be headed for Sudbury, Ontario on Friday 25th July to prepare for the 15th edition of the classic Canadian adventure race, Wilderness Traverse.
