Race Description:

An old school adventure race with rugged mountains, a pristine lake for paddling and remote wilderness locations, staged in the Northern Cape / Free state by Adrian Saffy.

'The Saffinator' needs no introduction to adventure racers in South Africa. In fact, he's one of the people in South Africa who has introduced a multitude of people to adventure racing and mountain adventures in general. You can expect a real challenge and to be shown some truly magical wild places on the race, always with a twist.

All teams in the ARWS category will receive ARWS Africa ranking points, and the winning mixed team of four will be ARWS Afric champions.  To take the prize of a free World Championship place a team must complete one other series race, at least 3 of the team must be from Africa and two must go to the World Championships.)
