The Montane Kong Vinter Race, the first race in the ARWS Europe calendar this year, is set to take place near Copenhagen, Denmark this weekend, January 14/15th. The Masters event, which is a 24-hour race for mixed teams of 4, has 19 teams competing, including teams from Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, and Finland/Italy, along with several top Danish teams.
Sixty-eight teams with racers from 15 countries will be in the Netherlands next weekend for the Raid Lowlands, the second race in the Adventure Racing World Series calendar in Europe this year.
This legendary race has been organized 10 times since 2002 and returned last year as a part of the ARWS Europe Series after a nine-year hiatus.
The 11th edition of Finland's only international adventure race was full of drama for all of the favourites and ultimately ended in a surprising Swedish celebration.
