Race Director Mark Harris said “Since the first Cowboy Tough race in 2013 it has been our goal to traverse all the different regions of Wyoming, culminating in a finish in Casper. The plan has been for the first 4 years to be a 3.5-day race, with the fifth year finishing out the Cowboy Tough journey as a 6-day AR. Having it be the 2017 ARWC is the cherry on top.”

In December the 2017 racer guide for the event was released.

Co-Race Director Mike Spiller said “We look forward to seeing you next August in Wyoming. You’ll love this welcoming and one-of-a-kind western US state.”
